**LaPlante Electric also provides heat pump instant rebates for high efficiency heat pump purchases, even if you don’t meet the whole house requirements of the Efficiency Maine program.
How to Submit Your Efficiency Maine Rebate Claim Form
Contact us today for an estimate on your new heat pump installation. Let’s talk about all of your options. We’ll come up with a plan for your home and schedule your installation. You can arrange for financing with us as well! The upgrade or new installation must be completed prior to submitting your rebate claim form.
The claim form will ask you for information such as your address, confirm details such as the type of home, confirm that installation requirements are met & details about the units. We can assist you with all of this information as well as filling out the form. After the form is completed and mailed, you will see your rebate in about 6 weeks!
Federal Tax Credit
(in addition to Efficiency Maine’s rebate):
- You can receive up to a $2,000 tax credit for installing a High Efficiency Heat Pump.
- You can receive up to a $600 tax credit for electrical service and panel upgrade.
- This is a tax credit. If you never owe taxes, this would not apply.
