LaPlante Electric has been closely monitoring developments regarding the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). Ensuring the safety of our Customer, Team Members and the general public while also protecting the integrity of our service delivery system is of paramount importance to us. We would like to proactively share the processes we have put in so as you support all of our wonderful Customers and Teammates.
Field Service:
We prepare for many scenarios that may impact our ability to serve our customers in order to make sure our services remain uninterrupted. We have been following the recommendations of the State and Federal Centers for Disease Control and prevention to ensure the safety and health of our employees and customers alike.
To Support our Teammates We Have:
- Increased sanitization of work stations and company vehicles.
- Implemented More Frequent Hand washing— lots and lots of hand washing
- Canceled non-essential meetings
- Spoken about common sense personal hygiene.
- Provided Field technicians with additional protective supplies
- Asked More than ½ of our office team to work from home.
Our customer service team:
- May ask you important questions regarding your own health status so we can take appropriate action
All Teammates have been informed about the importance of:
- Social distancing
- Refraining from handshakes
- Minimizing time in the office
LaPlante Electric has advised all Team Members that if they are experiencing any possible COVID-19 symptoms to remain home as a precaution so as not to infect other Team Members. We are currently maintaining essential operations and services and advise all to follow the most current guidance from the Center for Disease Control, as well as state and local agencies.
Like many businesses, we recognize the spread of the virus has created a fluid, rapidly evolving situation that will require close monitoring and a need to adapt quickly. We will continue to monitor and prepare, and we will provide additional information should our organizational status change.
